Refund Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
30 days. No conditions.
If you are not happy, tell us within 30 days of your payment and we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason. We will not ask you to justify it, and there is nothing you can do to your website that forfeits it.
This applies to every payment you make to us — your package fee, any later monthly renewal, and any Naya credits you buy — counted from the date of that payment. When credits are refunded, the ones you have not used yet are removed.
How to ask
Email support@appetitehost.co.za and say you would like a refund. That is the whole process. We will confirm the same working day where we can, and the money goes back to the card or account you paid from, usually within a few working days and always within 14.
After 30 days
You can still cancel at any time; you just do not get that payment back. What happens to the rest of your first year, and to monthly payments after that, is set out in section 10 of our Terms of Service.
You keep your web address
If we registered a .co.za address for you, it stays yours. It is registered in your name at the registry, not ours, and a refund does not take it back. We do not deduct what it cost us from your refund either — you get the full amount and you keep the address.
Your website itself comes down when we refund you, since you are no longer paying us to host it. Ask before it goes and we will send you your content to take elsewhere.
Why 30 days and not seven
The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act gives South African consumers seven days to cancel most things bought online, and it lets a business like ours carve out work made to your specification. We have chosen not to use that carve-out, and to give you thirty days instead of seven.
The reason is plain enough: we would rather you bought without having to weigh up whether you could get out of it. If the website is not right, you should not be stuck with it.
Nothing here reduces your rights
This policy adds to your rights; it takes nothing away. Whatever the Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act give you, you still have — including where a service has not been performed with reasonable skill and care.
