Build my website

A website made for the kind of business you run: a tour of 14 industry pages

A good small-business website is not a ready-made design with your name typed in. A plumber’s website and a photographer’s website have different jobs. That is why Appetite Host has a page for each kind of business, and why Naya, Appetite Technology’s proprietary AI, builds each website around what that business needs.

The 14 business types

Not on the list? Naya builds for any small business. Tell it what you do.

Each type gets its own look, and most get a choice

Every kind of business gets its own look, and most get a choice of styles. The example websites on our home page show the range. Trades can choose between a style called Bold and solid, one called Drawn to spec and one called Signwritten. Salons have Colour field and Appointment card. Guesthouses have Country house, Linen and breakfast, and Wine estate. Car washes have Navy and blue, Showroom and Neon wash. Property has Green and fresh, Site plan and Show day. Safety and industrial has Yellow on black, Control room and Safety signs. Creative studios have Lavender studio, Album cover and Street posters.

These are example businesses, built with the same parts Naya uses for yours. The point is that a guesthouse should not look like a safety supplier, and with Appetite Host it does not.

What changes from one type to the next

The parts Naya leads with depend on how that business gets work.

For trades, the website is built for the person with a burst pipe at nine at night: a tap-to-call button, a WhatsApp button, what you fix and the areas you cover. The example plumbing site puts the call-out fee, the opening hours, the years in business and the towns served right at the top, then lists the jobs: burst pipes, geyser installs, blocked drains, leak detection, bathroom renovations, solar geysers.

For restaurants and food, it is the menu and the hours. Each of the other types leads with what its customers look for first, and the example websites on each page show how.

What every type gets

Whatever your business, the same foundation is underneath:

  • Built for phones first, with your number, WhatsApp and directions one tap away.
  • Your real photos, uploaded from your phone, shrunk so they do not cost visitors a fortune in data.
  • Your Google reviews shown on your own website.
  • The areas you serve, written into the website so search engines can match you to “electrician in Centurion”.
  • A contact form that emails you, with a POPIA privacy line under it.
  • Your own .co.za, registered in your name.

Professional Plus and Professional Turbo add a photo gallery, testimonials and a quote request form that emails you.

How Naya uses the page you pick

You tell Naya what you do, typed or spoken. It suggests the looks that suit your trade and asks the questions a good designer would: which suburbs you want more work from, your hours, how customers usually reach you. Then it writes your website from your answers, and you watch it take shape on screen before you pay anything. Your website is live within 1 working day of payment. Your own .co.za address follows as soon as you confirm your email, usually the same day.

Plans are R5 000, R10 000 or R15 000 once-off with the first year included, then R249, R349 or R499 a month from year two. No contract, and a 30-day full refund if it is not right.
